What achievements has the Thang Long I Petrol Station accomplished after one year of operation?
One year may not be a long time for a type 1 petrol station, but it is a particularly special and challenging period for Vietnam's first 100% foreign-invested petrol station.
With the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff and the station management, along with the support of valued customers, promotional videos, introduction images, and media coverage of the "Japanese standard" petrol station have gradually reached customers.

0,000,000 customer visits per year is not a small number for a 100% foreign-invested petrol station like Thang Long I.
Over the past year, the Thang Long I Petrol Station has served nearly 10,000,000 customers, including container trucks, delivery trucks, passenger cars, and motorcycles of employees in the industrial park and local residents. Additionally, on weekends, there is a significant influx of customers from the urban area and neighboring regions coming to purchase fuel, with numbers increasing each month. This achievement is a result of the satisfaction, trust, and confidence from Vietnamese customers.
This is also an opportunity for the Thang Long I Service Station to bring its "Japanese standard" image to the Vietnamese community.
On May 18, 2018, the Thang Long I Petrol Station welcomed a group of 40 outstanding Japanese language students from To Hoang Secondary School for a visit and to experience "Japanese – European standard" services. This practical experience was an opportunity for the students to gain a clearer understanding and appreciation of the professional service style that embodies Japanese culture, as well as to deepen their love for the language, culture, and people of Japan.

The first documentary film about Idemitsu Kosan and the Thang Long I Petrol Station.
In early July 2018, the station had the honor of welcoming a film crew from Japan to produce a documentary about the activities of the Nghi Son Refinery and the Thang Long I Petrol Station. The film aims to introduce the image of Vietnam in general and the operations of Idemitsu Kosan Group in particular to the Japanese community.

The Vietcombank Idemitsu Q8 prepaid fuel card offers a variety of conveniences.
In addition to the "Japanese standard" values, the Thang Long I Petrol Station has also launched the Vietcombank Idemitsu Q8 prepaid fuel card to continue providing customers with new and convenient services to meet diverse needs in their daily lives. This is a co-branded card product between Idemitsu Q8 Petroleum Limited Liability Company and Vietcombank.
The Vietcombank Idemitsu Q8 card is available in two formats: Individual Prepaid Card and Business Prepaid Card. Customers can easily obtain the Vietcombank Idemitsu Q8 prepaid fuel card at service points and Idemitsu Q8 petrol stations nationwide. Funds can be loaded onto the card through banking service channels, not only from Vietcombank but also from other banks, offering businesses a variety of payment options to enhance convenience and save time and operational costs.

The staff at the IQ8 service station always provide service in the "Japanese standard" style.
With the desire to provide professionalism and the best experience for customers at its stations, Idemitsu Q8 focuses on investing in its staff. Accordingly, the station has invited senior experts from the Idemitsu Kosan Group in the service sector to conduct assessments and train the station's employees in sales skills, including customer reception, sales processes, cleaning mirrors and windows, and especially the skill of bowing to customers. Additionally, there have been 7 demonstration sessions and training courses on customer service skills in the Japanese style.
Although it has only been present in the Vietnamese market for one year, Idemitsu Q8, particularly the Thang Long I Service Station, has made a strong impression on Vietnamese customers with its Japanese-standard service and European-standard quality. Currently, Idemitsu Q8 has also opened the Dinh Vu Port Petrol Station in Hai Phong and the Thang Long II Service Station (in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Lieu Xa Commune, Yen My District, Hung Yen Province).
