Idemitsu Q8 is a 100% foreign-invested joint venture between Kuwait's Kuwait International Petroleum (Q8) and Japan's Idemitsu Kosan. This joint venture was established over a year ago with each side contributing 50% of the capital. Notably, Idemitsu Q8 currently holds a 35.1% stake in the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC in Thanh Hoa.

The Service Stations use a software system that allows precise management of fuel quantities down to 0.001 liters, providing detailed transaction reports to customers and ensuring peace of mind against fuel fraud that has occurred at many other gas stations.
In addition, to offer customers more conveniences and unique experiences, Idemitsu Q8 also implements an automated management software system that allows card payments with many superior features.

Furthermore, the Idemitsu Q8 gas station system is designed with modern and advanced equipment from Japan, such as Tatsuno pumps, double-layer SF underground fuel tanks manufactured by Tamada Vietnam Company, and a fuel vapor recovery system from Malaysia. These facilities meet all fire safety and environmental protection standards of Vietnam.
